The IMCS Lab conducts pioneering research in intelligent mobility and cybersecurity. Under the guidance of Prof. Seunghyun Park, we work on securing connected and autonomous vehicles — from in-vehicle intrusion detection and risk assessment methodology to EV charging authentication — creating solutions that impact both academia and industry.
Our work spans automotive cybersecurity technology and regulation, and the fundamental technologies that make autonomous driving dependable.

Our project, “Capability-Aware Safe Meta-Decision in Physical AI-Driven Robotics: A Try-Ask-Refuse Framework,” has been awarded the 2026 Basic Research Grant (Core Research: Basic Research Type A), funded by the MSIT and managed by the NRF. The project will run from September 2026 to August 2031, supported by a total of KRW 250 million over 5 years.
Prof. Park served as the Organizing Chair for SWCC 2026.
